- Understand the operating constraints of steam turbines.

- Determine the causes of performance losses.

- Identify operating anomalies and maintenance consequences.

Objectives:  

Acquire knowledge of :

- the main modes of corrosion and metallurgical degradation encountered in major chemical environments.

- the main families of corrosion-resistant metallic materials in the chemical industries.

- This course is aimed at technicians or engineers from new works, process, maintenance and inspection departments with at least 6 months' professional experience.

- Maximum 8 to 10 people per session.

Objective:

Using concrete examples drawn from Primco's experience, trainees will :

- Acquire problem-solving methodology

- Identify a process problem and its nature

- Extract information from available tools

- Target the area of interest, starting from the field and moving towards more complex measurements

- Know the most common causes of failure by type of equipment

- Be aware of sampling and analysis biases
